This project presents the architectural design and construction study of a luxurious single-storey residence in Porto Heli. Situated on a sloping 430 sq.m plot, the residence, with a total area of 143 sq.m, has been designed to ensure optimal orientation of the main living areas, as well as unobstructed views towards the sea and the island of Spetses.

The outdoor space includes landscaped and covered living areas, a BBQ zone, and an infinity pool, positioned prominently and aligned with the view.

The strong slope of the plot was included in the design by placing a part of the building under the surface of the ground and consequently contributing to the architectural result and its energy footprint. The long staircase leads the user from the street level to the ground floor level of the residence offering uninterrupted view of the Argolic gulf.

Due to its placement, the residence is organized into three distinct volumes. The first accommodates the kitchen and living area, the second the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and the third—partially underground—hosts three additional bedrooms and their shared bathroom. This spatial arrangement offers a sequence of varied experiences, gradually revealed as one moves through the house.

Stokas Inc. fulfilled the architectural design and construction of a complex and highly aesthetic building, combining modern materials such as glass and metal roof elements with traditional touches such as stone cladding and wood, always guided by the correct use of the textures and colors.

The natural terrain plays a key role in shaping the overall palette. In addition to the landscaped green areas throughout the plot, the roof of the partially embedded volume reinforces the impression that the boundaries between the natural and built environment remain fluid.

Quality & Utility Building Information
What is QUBI? It’s not just an acronym for Quality & Utility Building Information.

It is a "cube" -as its name goes with the corresponding Latin word cubus- which encloses all the elements of each of our construction project’s unique identity, including all the construction parameters, as well as the information related to its quality, operation and functional characteristics.
