The project concerns the Design and Construction of a luxury two-story residence of contemporary architecture and modern aesthetics, featuring a basement, attic, and swimming pool, with a total area of 270 sq.m. The residence is situated on a 346 sq.m. plot in the Panorama area of Voula.
The design objective of Stokas D&C was to create a unified architectural whole that frames different perspectives and visual connections to the sea view. One of the main challenges of the project was the steep slope of the site, the narrow street frontage and the façade facing the road. Rather than seeing these as obstacles, Stokas D&C transformed them into design opportunities, developing the residence across multiple levels that distinguish functions and using architectural elements to emphasize this differentiation both spatially and on the façade.
At street level, the residence accommodates the bedrooms, while the communal living areas are placed one level below, directly connected to the courtyard. The basement level houses auxiliary storage spaces.
The outdoor design, where the swimming pool is positioned, was conceived as a seamless extension of the living spaces, reinforcing the fluid transition between indoors and outdoors. The selected palette of grey, beige, and white tones, combined with wood cladding and exposed concrete, creates a cohesive composition that conveys an earthy yet refined character with a rich variety of textures.
